Starting in 1999 or so, I began writing product opinions and reviews on a variety of different things from video games to computer software, and eventually more. These articles earned me money until 2000 or 2001, when the advertising market for the internet took a dive. Since that time, the time that I had once put into these things is no longer really of profit and anything I write for epinions of late is more for a leisure activity or as a cure for boredom than anything else. I would not really expect TOO many updates to my epinions writings. I also ask that you keep in mind the date of the material that you are reading. As with all writers, I look back at some of my past work and cringe, unbelieving that I could have produced some of this filth. While I have taken the liberty of filtering what I put on here, remember that even those pieces which made it onto the site are still quite old and hence, not a good measure of my recent work. 08.28.01 - Internet and Extranet Messaging (Mail Servers) 08.27.01 - Where Cost Cutting meets Company Expansion (Profit Optimization Software) 08.27.01 - File Provider via the Internet (FTP Servers) 08.21.01 - Dependable Performance, Difficult Price (Dell Poweredge 6400) 08.21.01 - Lower Level Hardware Help (Hardware Firewalls) 08.20.01 - A Firewall that Relies on Connection Scanning (Software Firewalls) 08.20.01 - Costs Much More than it is Worth (HP Netserver lp1000r) 08.17.01 - Do NOT Depend on it for 100% Protection (Purchasing Software Firewalls) 08.17.01 - An Absolute Neccessity for Business (Purchasing Hardware Firewalls) 08.17.01 - Install Cross-Connects and Lab Areas with Ease (Rackmount Hubs) 08.17.01 - Remote Command-line Access (Telnet Servers) 08.16.01 - The 123s of Rack Server Configurations (Rack Server Configurations) 03.13.01 - Optimum Internet Connectivity for Small to Medium Businesses (Cisco 2500 Series Routers) 03.09.01 - Next Generation?
