As you can see, the house has been drywalled, they did the wall texturing, and then applied a base of matte paint. There are still a couiple of outstanding items with the builder: a can light missing from the kitchen will be installed after the kitchen island has been implemented, and then they need to bolt down the half wall that separates the stairs from the living room. As the wall stands now, I do not trust it.

I am intersted to see them finish the structural wiring and the HVAC elements so I can start looking at how much it would cost for me to figure something out for an air conditioner. I think the central AC and the landscaping may have to wait a year. Depending on cost, the fence may have to wait also, depends on what the neighbors want to do and what they are willing to split in terms of cost.
