This is a fairly cmprehensive suite of traceroute tools including a full console trace route, graphical windows traceroute (including 3D render of the trace over time), and a list view for even faster display. D3TR goes well beyond that, however, offering a huge number of internet features including whois queries, DNS queries, a portscanner, a IP scanner (to determine node existance), mail header analysis, and far more.

This application has its own homepage at http://www.hlembke.de/prod/3dtraceroute/ and the author offers a Pro version which, aside from supporting development efforts, allows you to do geo location of not only your end point but the nodes in-between. The author has noted that this application may experience some problems under Windows XP Service Pack 2.
