This is a pretty quick network monitoring system for Windows machines written by John Eaglesham AKA "Lofar". Its pretty useful, showing the connections to various IP addresses and ports in near-real time. A great tool for tracking where your bandiwdth is being used up, troubleshooting certain types of network connectivity, and for ensuring that no extra daemons are in use or connections made.
Running it with an option -? lists the options this program can take, like using winpcap instead of raw sockets, etc.
This file is being offered by agreement with the author and he has asked me to pass some notes along. First, there is a random crashbug in the application. It doesnt inhibit function but it can be annoying on the rare occasion you run into it. Because of this bug, Lofar will probably be making another release of this application in the future. Also, he has asked for any reports on usefulness, compliments, bug reports, feature requests, etc. You can send them to me and I will be more than happy to pass them along,The final note on this file is that its free for any use, just please contact the author if you want to distribute it. If you are interested in doing so, please send me an email and I will put you in contact with him.
