Inching Closer

There seems to be some kind of divine principle governing time in the universe. Time moves in an inverse relationship to the degree of anticipation with which you await an event.
Call it Waynes Law of Assinine Temporal Transversal.
I continue to await the road trip like a 4 year old who knows that santa is coming. My mom confirmed she is coming - so long as my sisters surgery does not require otherwise - so I have even more reason to look forward to it.

Excitement Building

As we get closer and closer, I am looking foward to the road trip next month. Lauren and I are going cross country to MI and PA to visit family and so forth. I love road trips. 20 hours from CO to MI, if you include stops. 8 hours from MI to PA. 24 hours from PA to CO. With some time in between those trips, of course, to visit with family.
Ever since our night trips to SC from MD when I was young, I have loved road trips. Now I have a good digital camera, a GPS unit, and some games to enjoy along the way.

Life has a way...

You know, its funny. Life has a way of creeping up on you. You write something and then you intend to go back the next week and write something else. But then you turn around and suddenly its like 6 months later.

When I was young, I used to be excited about when I would be "old" and salt and pepper and look respectable. Now I think I realize that time moves much faster in proportion to your age. At 10 or 11, it sneaks by slowly. At 23, it has started to trot. When I am 40, I bet I will be hanging on dearly as life would seem to be veritably careering down the years.

Pardon the oddity of this post however it just seems amazing that so much time has elapsed since my last posting to the news area on my site.
